"Ask if what you do makes a difference. It does." ~ William James
This is a good question on so many levels. Ask if it makes a difference to eat poison or fuel. Ask if it makes a difference to delay an 'indulgence' for 5 minutes. Ask if it makes a difference to go around the block one more time.
Ask if it makes a difference to be gentle with yourself instead of feeling guilty when you falter. Ask if it makes a difference to start the day in gratitude. Ask if it makes a difference to smile at the clerk when you're checking out at the store.
What you do makes a difference. And who you are makes a difference. And who you are is not just OK, it's also wonderful and special and unique.
Be the best YOU that you can be today!
