I found this in the May/June issue of Natural Solutions - seems good to share after a Holiday weekend! A food craving is usually your body telling you it needs more of certain minerals - so here are some options for how to satisfy your craving in a healthy way.
Crave Sweets - Try broccoli, grapes, cheese, protein sources, raisins, cranberries, horseradish
Crave Chocolate - Try raw nuts and seeds, legumes, fruits
Crave Salty Foods - try fish, raw goat milk, unrefined sea salt
Crave Soda - Try Mustard/turnip greens, broccoli, kale, legumes, cheese, sesame
This is an incomplete list, but it does give some options.
And, remember, try water first, your body doesn't know the difference between hunger and thirst!
Today is definitely a day to Recommit!

Thank you Gerri!! I just came back from much unwated walk from my brain but did it and was thinking wanting to have somethign sweet to have. now, with your help I am going to have some cottage cheese with strawberries.
